Patch Simulation
Patch Simulation
- Clicking the play button on the far left in the top bar starts the simulation for a patch and instantiates it with no attenuation.
- While in simulation, parameter values can be changed, and the effect of those changes will be heard in real time.
- Parameter changes can be made in the local or global parameter areas, or directly in the nodes if no parameter is connected to the corresponding socket. Read more about parameters here: Parameters
- The stop button halts the simulation of the patch. The play button is context-sensitive and will change into a stop button while the patch is active.
- Multiple patches can be simulated simultaneously, with tabs indicating which ones are currently running.
- If the studio is running a remote session, a patch can still be previewed locally. However, playback will be played through the currently active engine instance. For example, if connected to a session running in the Unity plugin, audio will be played through that instance.
