Playback Settings

Currently, you can access these settings by opening up your Elias project file (the “.elias” file) with a text editor.

  • Bit depth (default: 16)
  • Samplerate (default: 48000)
  • Buffer size (default: 512)
  • Channel count (default: 2)
  • Default mixer - The default mixer is created together with the new Elias project file.
  • Default segue policy - Reference to the default segue policy found further down in the Elias project file. These settings can be changed to fit the user's preference.
  • Default stinger policy - Reference to the default stinger policy found further down in the Elias project file. These settings can be changed to fit the user's preference.
  • Instance Limit (default: 256) - Max limit of the number of instances running at the same time. This limit can be changed, but the performance will depend on the complexity of patches and the number of simultaneously playing audio assets. Further limits can be set to sound players and/or a patch itself under the voice management section of the patch.
